Moxie Fab

The Moxie Fab challenge is to use lace or doilies.
You can read all about it here.... Moxie Fab
This is something I've been thinking about....just needed
the push to actually create something.
I figured a card for my mom would be perfect for something
like this....I think she'll love it.

I wanted to layer the lacy stuff on the bottom. I recently saw a purse with layers of ruffles and thought it was so pretty....so those ruffles were my inspirations. I started with a card base measuring 5-1/4 x 5-1/4, then layered on a piece of soft suede, and then the basic grey nook and pantry on top of that. I used score tape to adhere the lace. The image with the sentimen was cut out with my nesties, and it is muslin, with a piece of soft suede behind it. I did spone soft suede around all of the edges of the basic grey paper as well, to give it that aged feeling.

Card Details:
Stamps: Verve Thankful Accents and Because of You
Paper: Rustic White from PTI, Basic Grey Nook & Pantry, Soft Suede
Ink: Soft Suede
Misc: chino pearls, offray trimmings, buttons are from PTI, jute twine, nesties

I'd love to hear what you think of my card....
