Featured Stamper Challenge

Yesterday was the first time I've ever done a Featured Stamper Challenge and I loved it! It was so fun to go through scrapnextras gallery and pick a card. She is so talented and it was hard to choose just one.

I finally pulled out all of my new PapertreyInk colors and used them, I can't believe it took me this long.

Recipe:

Paper:

All PapertreyInk
White, Berry Sorbet, Sweet Blush and Pink Patterns

Ink:
Berry Sorbet and Sweet Blush

Stamps:
Riveting

I ran the Sweet Blush piece of paper thru the Swiss Dots cb folder. The ribbon is not Papertrey, can't exactly remember where I got that color from, as I'm getting quite a collection of it.

Rainin' Daisies

For today's blog entry I chose a PIF image that I received from Alison (newstampinaddict) its Rainin' Daisies. This is another one of my favorite stamps. I'm finding I have more and more "favorite" stamps each day. I especially liked coloring this one with my prismas, it colored very nicely. Below is my recipe for this card:

Stamps:
Rainin' Daisies
Happy Everything
Itty Bitty Backgrounds

Paper:
Rose Red
Lavendar Lace
White

Accessories:
Prismacolor pencils
Turpenoid
Paper Stumps
Baubles (thanks to my wonderful friend Janice (catcrazy)
Swiss Dots CB folder
Glossy Accents by Ranger

Thanks for stopping by my blog today and checking it out. I'm getting closer and closer to the 500 hit mark, so I need to get my blog candy ready.

Sweet Sniffs of Spring

Ah yes...spring is in the air! I can smell it - at least I'm trying to thru all of this rain! We can't wait until the pool gets open and its nice and hot and we can spend our days/evenings by the pool. Too bad I have to work for a living. Oh how I'd love to be a lady of leisure and just lie poolside for hours at a time! Oh well, time to wake up from that dream....

The card I made today come from a stamp called...noneother than...Sweet Sniffs of Spring!! Isn't he adorable. This puppy is so fun to color.

Recipe: Certainly Celery, Lavendar Lace and white paper. (All SU of course). I used Lavendar Lace ink. The image came from the PIF thread on SCS, I've snagged him from blessingsx3 and also Misse336. I keep snagging him...guess I should soon break down and buy my own puppy! I put the white paper thru my sizzix machine with the swiss dots cb die and used my paper slit punch to do the scallops. The scalloped punch is from SU and then I used the 1-3/8 and the1-1/4" punch - also from SU. I really wanted to do some paper piercing but couldn't find my paper pierces, so I used a thumb tack, worked like a charm.

I'm having a ball with my blog and will be posting blog candy when I hit 500 posts!!! Have a great day and thanks for checking up on me!

New Rileys are here!

Wow, I'm really really loving this guy! This is tractor Riley. Of course coming from a John Deere family, there was no other color to make this tractor except green. Riley is really kickin' up the dust...that reminds me of Kenny Chesney - She Thinks My Tractors Sexy. Did I mention that I love Kenny Chesney?

Anyways, I used chocolate chip, garden green, yoyo yellow and white c/s. I used my distressed stripes cb folder on the chocolate chip and loved how it turned out. Is there any other way to color except prismas?? Cause I'm having trouble working with anything but them. I don't think I've touched my SU markers since I got all of my prismas. I use turpenoid with the stumps and love the way it turns out. The sentiment at the bottom - I printed out on the computer and it say.....driving by...and inside the card it says...with a Birthday Hi!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog! Be watching soon, I may just get excited and post some blog candy when I hit a couple hundred posts!

Riley....from Hannastamps

Its been a while since I've done anything with my blog. It is so hard to find the time. Although if I'd not spend so much time PIFing on SCS, I may have more time for other things.

This is my latest card I made. Its Riley the Moose and he's enjoying a cup of coffee.
